LVMPC has been bringing free, research-based literacy services
to West Virginians since the 1980s. We are a 501c3 non-profit that has literacy programs
for everyone - infants, preschoolers, students, adults, caregivers, and senior citizens.

Our services are available to both native English speakers and English Language Learners. We work with adult learners to strengthen their abilities to read, write, speak, and listen.

We want to thank the Dollar General Literacy Foundation for supporting our classes. LVMPC is excited to share the Virtual Spring 2023 Class Schedule. These classes are free for adults in Monongalia and Preston Counties. You can attend as many classes as you want and it's okay if you miss a few sessions. Team LVMPC had the very best time learning crucial literacy skills through play with all of our littlest readers at our Baby Book Bag Club's Earth Day Playdate!
